Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi wed in an intimate surprise ceremony on Friday, with only 20 guests in attendance.
While the nuptials were kept under wraps and very little has been announced about the ceremony thus far, one detail we do know about is one of the bride's beautiful wedding gifts.
The Princess received a gorgeous bouquet of flowers from florist Martyn Crossley, who has provided flowers for many Royals over the years - including The Queen.
The Windsor-based florist posted a picture of the beautiful bouquet on Instagram, offering us a tiny glimpse into Beatrice's big day with the caption, 'Flowers for Royal bride Princess Beatrice of York after her marriage to Mr Eduardo Mapelli Mozzi this morning in Windsor Great Park'.
When quizzed about which flowers he had chosen for the Princess by a follower, he replied, 'Very English garden flowers in the Princess' favourite colours. The flowers included Peonies, Scabious, Eustoma, Stocks, Dahlia. Alchemila, Phlox, Alstrameria and Stocks with Eucalyptus foliage.'
Martyn was quick to acknowledge that the bouquet was sent as a gift to Beatrice, rather than as part of the ceremony.
The wedding was originally set for May, but had to be postponed due to Covid-19. The couple decided instead to surprise fans by holding a small wedding in Windsor.
In a statement, the palace yesterday announced: 'The private wedding ceremony of Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi took place at 11am on Friday 17 July at The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor. The small ceremony was attended by the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh and close family. The wedding took place in accordance with all relevant government guidelines.'
