After announcing their engagement in September 2019, Princess Beatrice (daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson) married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in a secret ceremony in July 2020. They had originally intended to marry in May 2020 but the big day was delayed due to Covid restrictions.

Edoardo is a multi-millionaire, having founded the property consultancy Banda (it means ‘big shed’ in Swahili, apparently) in 2007. The company specialises in finding and developing homes for the super-rich.
