Some adorable new photographs of Prince Louis, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's youngest child, have been released to mark his first birthday. And, just like his first official portraits, they’ve been captured by his mum Kate.

The cute pics were taken in the grounds of the family's home, Anmer Hall, on the Queen's Sandringham Estate in Norfolk. The snaps show Louis in two adorable jumpers - one being a a £35 dog jumper Trotters - and looking just like his siblings Charlotte and George.

The Kensington Royal Twitter account wrote, ‘The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to share three new photographs of Prince Louis ahead of his first birthday tomorrow. The photographs were taken earlier this month by The Duchess at their home in Norfolk.'

Recently, Kate has said, 'Spending quality time together is such an important aspect of family life and for me, as a mother, it is the simple family moments like playing outside together that I cherish.' Louis, whose full name is Prince Louis Arthur Charles, was born at 11.01am on April 23 weighing 8lb 7oz. He is fifth in line to the throne.

Louis will also have a new cousin soon, as the Duchess of Sussex is set to give birth any day now
