Last week we wrote a piece about how people were treating Prince Harry's alleged new girlfriend Meghan Markle in a very uncool way.
Today, Prince Harry himself got involved.
The couple, who were ousted last week, have been the subject of intense obsession both from the media and from the public. Much has been made of Meghan Markle's acting career and the fact that like, a couple of times she did sex scenes in Suits and sometimes wore outfits that did not cover her head to toe.
People fixated on her age (35 whole years old, ffs), her race, her supposed attempt at social climbing. No-one fixated on her humanitarian work which is extensive and far reaching.

Prince Harry today released a statement through a spokeman from Kensington Palace. It says that while the Prince feels 'lucky' to have 'warmth' extended to him from so many supportive members of the public, and how he has tried to develop a 'thick skin' to deal with the not so nice things, there's some things he can't ignore, and, this past week 'a line has been crossed'.
'His girlfriend Meghan Markle, has been subject to a wave of abuse and harassment... the smear on the front page of a national newspaper; the racial undertones of comment pieces' and the outright sexism and racism of social media trolls and web article comments.'
He goes on to say that we might even not have seen the worst of it. Apparently they've been fighting 'nightly' legal battles to keep defamatory stories out of the papers. Meghan's family, friends, ex-boyfriend have been harrassed and even offered bribes.
'Prince Harry is worried about Ms. Markle's safety and is deeply disappointed that he has not been able to protect her.' The statement says. 'This is not a game - it is her life and his.'
Nice one Harry.
