After spending her 36th birthday in London with her boyfriend of one year Prince Harry, Suits star Meghan Markle is set to continue celebrations with a romantic safari holiday.
The couple, who are also celebrating their first anniversary, jetted out of the capital yesterday and were photographed arriving in South Africa. They are thought to have met through mutual friends at members-only club Soho House last summer.

The choice of location will naturally lead royal pundits to speculate over whether the 32-year-old prince is about to propose to his actress girlfriend. Not only is it a location close to Harry's heart - he spent part of his gap year in Lesotho and has a charity organisation there - but it is also where his elder brother William proposed to his wife Kate Middleton (albeit that was in Kenya). Apart from that, it's also an incredibly romantic place.
While Harry had a reputation as a playboy prince in his twenties, dating a string of beautiful blondes, (most notably Chelsy Davy and Cressida Bonas) his relationship with Meghan has been handled markedly differently. When media intrusion into their relationship intensified during the early days, Harry issued a rare public statement defending his girlfriend and begging the press to leave her alone, showing how serious he was about this pairing.
'Prince Harry is worried about Ms. Markle’s safety and is deeply disappointed that he has not been able to protect her. It is not right that a few months into a relationship with him that Ms. Markle should be subjected to such a storm,' part of the statement read.
So, are we about to get a Princess Meghan? We'll keep you posted.
