Prince Harry and Meghan Markle just hit a major relationship mile stone (in the life of a royal that is).

The couple have attended their first public event together after 10 months of dating with the prince's girlfriend taking her rightful place in the Royal Box at Coworth Park Polo Club in Ascot as she watched her beau and his brother the Duke of Cambridge playing polo.

The newest soon-to-be member of the royal family looked every inch the princess for her first public engagement, wearing a beautiful navy assymetric Antonio Berardi dress and white blazer, plus prerequisite shades.

The actress wasn't the only celebrity in attendance, with Eddie Redmayne (who actually, when we think about it, bears a slight resemblance to Harry, no?) and Matt Smith (who is currently playing Harry's granddad the Duke of Edinburgh in Netflix hit The Crown, awkward?) also watching the horse-play from the side-lines.

The move comes just two weeks before another engagement we're expecting to see Meghan at - the wedding of Pippa Middleton and James Matthews. We can't wait to see what she chooses to wear on that occasion.
