Kensington Palace have released three new adorable photos of Prince George to mark his sixth birthday today. In the two of the pictures, taken by his mum the Duchess of Cambridge, George is seen grinning while wearing an England football shirt. Another photo, of the third in line to the throne wearing a green polo shirt and a pair of stripey shorts, has also been shared to mark the big day.

The caption to the photos on the Kensington Royal Instagram read, 'Happy Birthday Prince George! The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share new photographs of Prince George to mark His Royal Highness's sixth birthday. This photograph was taken recently in the garden of their home at Kensington Palace by The Duchess of Cambridge. Thank you everyone for all your lovely messages.'
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have also shared their well wishes, writing on the post, 'Happy Birthday! Wishing you a very special day and lots of love.'
George – who is now on his school summer break – is currently on holiday with his family in Mustique.
Earlier this month, George received a tennis lesson from tennis pro Roger Federer, who said the young royal was ‘cute’ and had a ‘good’ technique.
