He's quite a good artist, actually.

Mother's Day this year is, well, a bit weird. Many of those who would usually be going to visit their mums, perhaps a bunch of flowers or chocolates in tow, have been forced to stay away thanks to the coronavirus pandemic. But that doesn't mean we can't fawn over the cute gifts children have made their mothers to show their appreciation. This year, that includes Prince George.

This morning, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared a Mother's Day message on their Instagram, @kensingtonroyal, which included several images. They include photographs of William with his mother, Princess Diana, Kate with her mother Carole and, perhaps most special, George's Mother's Day Card. It's a bunch of red flowers in a vase, decorated with a heart. Not bad George! See the offerings via their post below:

The couple acknowledged the pandemic subtly, writing: 'To mothers new and old and families spending today together and apart – we are thinking of you all at this difficult time.' But they addressed it more specifically earlier this week. On Friday, they were in Croydon, visiting staff working at a NHS 111 facility.

'Catherine and were proud to visit staff working at NHS 111, to pass on our personal thanks, along with those of my grandmother and father, to staff working around the clock to provide care and advice to those that need it most', William wrote afterwards.

'The last few weeks, and more recent days have been understandably concerning with the continuing spread of coronavirus.'

/But it’s at times like this when we realise just how much the NHS represents the very best of our country and society – people from all backgrounds and walks of life with different experiences and skills, pulling together for the common good.'

The visit followed a similar statement from The Queen, who is now in Windsor. Harry, Meghan and their son Archie remain in Canada.
