Deciding what to call your baby? You might want to consult this list - or if you're keen for your newborn to avoid confusion in the playground, then these are the monikers to stear clear of.

A new survey of this year's most popular baby names puts Olivia and Muhammed in the top spots. Olivia is back on top of the BabyCentre UK's list after falling to fourth place last year, with Sophia falling one place. It's clear however that vowel names reign.

For the boys, Muhammed comes in first as the survey (unlike the Office of National Statistics) allows for several different spellings of the name. Nearly all of the boys names are non-movers, but lower down on the list, Aiden has jumped 26 places. Anyone else suspect there's a lot of Aiden Turner fans out there?

Poldark may not be the only pop culture phenomenon to play a role in the rankings, as the Sasha Miller, the Interntional Managing Editor of BabyCentre, points out: “Whether it’s Ella Henderson topping the charts or Deliciously Ella cleaning up our eating habits, popular celebrities have a clear influence."

Here's the top ten boys and girls names of 2015, according to the survey.
