Anyone else really hate weight-shaming Internet trolls? Yep, us too. And you know who’s standing right with us? Pink – or as we’re now referring to her at HQ: our life hero!
Remember a few weeks back when she took to Twitter to take down her online body-shamers. Well, she’s only gone and done it again.
The singer, in an interview with Entertainment Tonight at the BMI Pop Awards, talked about her recent body shaming, and how she felt towards the internet bullies who had done it.
She said: ‘I don’t take well to bullying. I never have. I’m not a person that will be bullied. I’m not a person that will stand by watching other people bullied.’ Preach to the max.
But that doesn’t mean the comments didn’t have an impact on her. ‘I'm raising a girl. I am a girl. I have feelings. People think I take no s--t and I’m tough, tougher than nails, but I’m a human being,’ she said. Hell yes, you are Pink. A very awesome human being, if you ask us.
But if you think she’s going to lose any sleep over internet haters, well you’d have that wrong. Pink continued: ‘I think people have gotten it wrong. They think their opinion matters and holds weight, and I don’t know where or why they’re giving themselves so much credit, you know?
‘So I thought it was important for me to remind them that I don’t care. My life is full, I like food a lot, and I really like to cook, I like to live. I find joy in that, and we’re doing all right in the Hart household.’
Here, here. We are so with you, Pink. Carry on…
