It’s pretty clear that Good Morning Britain’s Piers Morgan has showcased his dislike for Little Mix. But it was Little Mix who won this little feud.
During Little Mix’s latest LM5 tour, they shared a video of Morgan asking them for a public apology, cut with a meme of a man laughing at the computer. The video footage was from a November 2018 episode of Good Morning Britain, during which Morgan addressed Little Mix member, Jesy Nelson, calling him a ‘silly twat’ on Nick Grimshaw’s Radio 1 show.
In the video, Morgan is heard saying, ‘If you’ve got the balls, come on this programme and say it to my face’ before his voice fades out leading into Little Mix's song Wasabi.
And it didn't stop there – during Good Morning Britain this week, Morgan addressed the video saying, 'Did you get permission from me in writing?' He even tweeted about the clip saying, 'They've made me centre stage at their concerts...so they'll be getting a large invoice.'
Sorry, but not sorry. Morgan won't be receiving anything, because Little Mix got permission from Good Morning Britain's bosses. Little Mix topped off the feud responding to Morgan's tweet saying, 'your bosses at GMB signed it off, including you...soz hun.'
One can only hope that Piers Morgan now knows, you can't mess with Little Mix. Or if you do, you will be dragged.
Little Mix (made up of Leign-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, and Jesy Nelson) is set to perform almost 50 shows over the next three months with UK dates taking place between October and November.
