As if we needed a new reason to celebrate the cultural phenomenon that Phoebe Waller-Bridge has become, she's now got two new trophies to fit somewhere on her packed mantelpiece. Last night she won a pair of Golden Globes, one recognising her performance in the second series of the acclaimed performance, and one naming the programme the best comedy of the year. But before she had even sat down for dinner ahead of the ceremony, Phoebe had already won a less prestigious, but perhaps harder to come by award: The Most Photographed With A Member Of The A-List. On Sunday night alone, she was snapped with Dame Helen Mirren, Jojo Rabbit director Taika Waititi and, of course, her Fleabag co-stars Sian Clifford and Andrew Scott.
But she'd had an impressive warm-up a few days before. Before the event on Sunday, Phoebe attended the AFI Awards, held on Friday at LA's Four Seasons Hotel. It was an impressive guest list, with guests including some of the world's most acclaimed actors. But everyone seemed to make a beeline for Phoebe. She was photographed with Marriage Story's Laura Dern, Joker's Joaquin Phoenix, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood's Brad Pitt, Succession's Brian Cox and Mad Men's Jon Hamm, who leaned in to photobomb.
It is not surprising that Phoebe has become the toast of Hollywood. Dame Anna Wintour is a big fan, and when Phoebe took the stage version of Fleabag to Broadway the Vogue editor hosted a welcome dinner at her home, with Sienna Miller and Anne Hathaway among the guests. And she spent a raucous-looking evening out in New York with Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence.
While the world's great and good practically queue up to meet the actor and writer, they may be aiming to get her on side. Last year, following her impressive wins at the Emmy Awards, Amazon Studios announced that they had secured the star to create new content for Amazon Prime Video. Reports say that the deal is worth £15 million a year.

It seems like there are plenty of people who can't wait to jump on board...
