In celebrity news we weren't ever expecting, Paul Danan - the former Hollyoaks actor - has claimed that Angelina Jolie kissed him at an afterparty. The kiss allegedly happened after the premiere of 2000 action film Gone In 60 Seconds.
Paul, who played Sol Patrick on the Channel 4 soap, said on his podcast The Morning After: 'Me and her were really chatting and I said, "Well done with the film, and what are you up to now?" She's [in a relationship] withBilly [Bob Thornton] at the time and she's got the tattoo. After our little chat, we were like, "OK, well done, see you a bit later."'
But this is where the story develops, as Paul continued: 'I go to give her a hug because it felt like that kind of conversation, and as I go to give her a kiss on the cheek - bam. She turned my head and smacked me right on those lips. Boom. It was a proper two-second-er. On the lips, those Angelina Jolie lips.' He then said the moment 'made his year', even though he was worried 'the bodyguard was about to come in and rip me to shreds'.
He added: 'She was a little flirt. She laughed and she smiled. I wouldn't have a drink all night - I didn't want to wipe it off.'
Angelina was married to Billy Bob Thornton from 2000 to 2003, before her 12-year relationship with Brad Pitt, which ended when the pair divorced in 2019. Brangelina are currently embroiled in a legal battle, after Brad filed a lawsuit against his ex-wife for 'unlawfully' selling her stake in their co-owned vineyard, Château Miraval. According to the lawsuit, Angelina sold her stake in the Chateau Miraval SA company to a Luxembourg-based spirits manufacturer controlled by businessman Yuri Shefler - without communicating with Brad.
