A host of VIPs made their way to Mr Fogg's club in Mayfair last week to hear intrepid adventurer, Hugh Robertson, deliver his 'Arctic Enterprise North Pole' talk.
As part of Mr Fogg's Explorer Series, and in aid of The Prince's Trust, Hugh wowed audience members with tales of his trek, which saw him walk in temperatures of -43 degrees last April.
Guests, which included Chloe Delevingne (sister of Cara and Poppy) and Oli Wheeler, were invited to ask questions afterwards, whereupon Jade Jagger amused audience members, asking if Hugh would be camping at Glastonbury from now on, having spent so long in tents?
Spandau Ballet member Gary Kemp similarly raised a laugh, asking what many wanted to know (but wouldn't dare ask themselves): how long did Hugh have each time to go to the loo...? 'Four minutes – absolute maximum', came the solid reply.
Other attendees, such as chefs Thomasina Miers (founder of Wahaca) and celebrity chef Valentine Warner munched on Mr Fogg's cheese and ham toasties throughout, and the rest of the party *toastied *[sic] the night with Royka Vodka 'Pole Position' cocktails, all served – most approproiately – on ice.
