Some much needed good news: the cast of Parks and Recreation will be reuniting for a special one-off charity episode. The reunion will see how everyone’s favourite politician, Lesley Knope (Amy Poehler{ =nofollow}) is dealing with the coronavirus pandemic. And the show is for good reason too - as the reunion, set to air on April 30, is to raise money for the Feeding America COVID-19 Relief Fund.

After seven seasons, the show’s finale was in 2015 - but according toPeople, the entire cast will be reuniting for this special episode, which will see Lesley see how her mates are doing, via video chat of course. Chris Pratt (Andy Dwyer), Rob Lowe (Chris), Adam Scott (Ben Wyatt), Aubrey Plaza (April Ludgate), Aziz Ansari (Tom Haverford), Nick Offerman (Ron Swanson), Rashida Jones (Anne Perkins), Retta (Donna Meagle) and Jim O’Heir (Jerry/Garry/Larry/Terry/Barry Gergich) are all set to return.

Executive producer and creator Mike Schur said of the reunion: ‘Like a lot of other people, we were looking for ways to help and felt that bringing these characters back for a night could raise some money. I sent a hopeful email to the cast and they all got back to me within 45 minutes. Our old Parks and Rec team has put together one more 30-minute slice of (quarantined) Pawnee life and we hope everyone enjoys it. And donates!’
