Paris Smith has been in the Made in Chelsea fold for four years, having made her reality TV debut in September 2020.

As the first woman of colour to join the cast, Paris has voiced the importance of representation in all aspects of life. She said, ‘I’m especially glad to get the opportunity as someone who grew up in Chelsea but didn’t necessarily see themselves represented across the board in the entertainment industry.’

Paris dips in and out of Made in Chelsea, but her impact on the E4 show is still recognised among fans. Here’s everything you need to know about the glamorous cast member.

Who is Paris Smith?

Paris Smith is a model and reality star who hails from London. She attended The Hampshire School in Chelsea before enrolling at The Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in the capital.

She then went on to study at The Art Academy in London and completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2018. Paris was welcomed into the Made in Chelsea family via ex-cast member Amelia Mist, although that friendship ended sourly, as shown in scenes on the show in December 2020.

At this year’s National Reality TV Awards, Paris was nominated for two awards, reality personality of the year and female personality of the year. She won the former gong in 2023, writing this year, ‘I’ll forever be in gratitude for last year’s reality personality award (which sits by my bedside every night!)’.

Ahead of series 27 airing earlier in the year, the reality starlet opened up about what her next MIC chapter had in store. She said, ‘I’m not really involved in any drama or relationships, so I like that I’ve been able to showcase my interests, such as fashion, music and modelling. This season I introduced my own fashion label – it’s been very exciting. There’s a lot of stuff that happens in Chelsea that isn’t just to do with romance. A lot of the cast work really hard on their other ventures. I’m so grateful I’ve got the opportunity to do just that.’

How old is Paris Smith?

In June, Paris turned 26. She wrote, ‘Guess I’m 26 now… [sic]. Love for all the birthday wishes.’

What does Paris Smith do?

Paris is a model and a socialite, so naturally fits in with the Chelsea crew. After she got a job working at her mum’s hair extension company, Sister Brown, aged 15, she was eventually scouted by a modelling agency. She is represented by Wilhelmina Model Agency.

Is Paris Smith dating Cillian Hilliard?

While Paris rarely takes centre stage on Made in Chelsea, she has had a few big storylines in the past. One of which was her late 2021 relationship with Cillian Hilliard, an Irish student and model. The pair posted loads of loved up photos on Instagram, but sadly called it a day shortly after. As of June this year, Paris was living her ‘best single life’ as she focuses on herself, her goals, and impact on the world.

What has Paris said about Made in Chelsea?

'I think my favourite part about living in the houses has been getting to know everyone,' she told Channel 4. 'You learn a lot about people by the way they live.' And apparently, she wasn't nervous to move in with anyone as she 'strives for a positive mental attitude'.

She also spoke to Grazia previously. 'Working as a model, you constantly work with new people, so [Made in Chelsea] wasn't anything I was too worried about', she said. 'And I tend to have a positive mindset, so I don't allow myself to make worries up. If I hear them coming, I go "no no”. I also get along well with people generally.'

Paris said her favourite thing about Made in Chelsea is building a connection with viewers. She explained, ‘The interactions that I have with some of the fans are really meaningful and they’ll say they really feel represented. For example, if they’re in a relationship but not sure about it, one fan said she asked herself, “What would Paris do?”, and I love that.’
