Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian Team Up for “Secret Project”

The wave of 00s’ nostalgia is so powerful it’s managed to reunite Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian. Paris teased her new song with Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, “My Best Friend’s A**” by sharing a video of herself and Kim on Instagram with a love heart filter, captioned “#SecretProject with@KimKardashian. I can’t stop looking at my #BestFriendsAss”

Kim and Paris wore matching silver sequined dresses in tribute to Paris’ infamous 21st birthday party dress, which another member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan – Kendall – previously paid tribute to.

So are Kim and Paris BFF’s again? They were constantly spotted in each other’s company throughout the early 2000s but fell out around 2008 when Paris went on a radio show and described Kim’s bum as “cottage cheese stuffed in a trash bag.” Neither Kim nor Paris really spoke about the end of their friendship until 2011 when Kim told Harper’s Bazaar that they weren’t on speaking terms.

But it seems the duo have made up and are collaborating on Paris’ new project. Paris’ last song, “I Need You” came out in February 2018 and peaked at number 31 on the Dance Billboard chart. The new song’s title seems to be a reference to that past dig. The 38-year-old heiress was spotted on set holding hands with Britney Spears impersonator and drag star Derrick Barry, and wearing a one-shoulder version of the silver dress over a black leather bra. It isn’t clear yet exactly what Kim’s cameo in what appears to be a music video for the new track will involve. But no doubt there’ll be plenty of references to those “simpler” days.
