It’s weird to think of Paris Hilton – she of The Simple Life and Stars Are Blind fame – as a grown up, but somehow that’s exactly what she is these days. In fact, not only is she a successful documentary-maker and women’s rights campaigner, she’s also now a mother.

The Hilton hotel heiress surprised fans with a picture of a tiny baby’s hand with the caption, ‘You are already loved beyond words,' back in January. And now she's done it again.

Paris, 42, welcomed her son Phoenix Barron earlier this year via surrogate, and last week she announced the birth of her daughter London who was born via surrogate as well. She shared a photo of a pink outfit with 'London' on the front on Instagram and wrote, 'Thankful for my baby girl.' A few days later, she shared photos of her bright pink Christmas trees and said, 'celebrating our baby girl London with a pink Christmas.'

Of course, following both announcements, Paris’ famous friends flooded the comments section with messages of congratulations, with fellow socialite Cathy Guetta writing, ‘Paris🌹I’m so happy for you and your husband .. extraordinary news 🎉congratulations ❤️⭐️’.

Speaking to People Magazine, Paris said, 'It's always been my dream to be a mother and I'm so happy that Carter and I found each other. We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy.'

In another interview about having a daughter, she said: 'It's my favorite city and I've always wanted to name my daughter London. I had actually picked that name for a long time now, probably over 10 years. I always wanted London. I love that name for my daughter.'

So who is the baby daddy? If this is the first your hearing aboutParis’ husband, you’re not alone. Here’s what we know about Mr Paris Hilton, Carter Reum.

Who is Paris Hilton’s husband Carter Reum?

Paris’ husband Carter is a businessman and investor, and the former owner of vodka brand Veev Spirits. According to industry magazine liquor.com, ‘Veev  is a neutral grain spirit distilled from Idaho Winter Wheat and infused with all-natural, organic acai from Brazil’ and is the first carbon neutral spirits brand.

‘Founded by brothers Courtney Reum and Carter Reum in Los Angeles in 2007, VeeV has grown from a two-man start-up into one of the best-selling independent liquor brands in the U.S., and was ranked amongst the 250 fastest growing companies and brands in the U.S. by Inc. Magazine (September 2011).’

Profits from his business allowed Carter to branch out into investing and his firm M13 was ‘investing £100m into dozens of start ups on 2016’. He sold his Vodka company in 2016 and is currently valued at around $300m. It’s safe to say, then, that Carter has a lot of money. We’d expect nothing less for Paris.

When did Paris and Carter get married?

Carter proposed to Paris on her 40th birthday and the couple wed in November 2021 in a Bel Aire Ceremony. She wrote on her website, ‘I finally got to kiss my Prince and begin the happily ever after I’ve been dreaming of since I was a little. It was a true fairytale wedding.’

How did Paris Hilton and Carter Reum meet?

According to all sources, Paris and Carter’s relationship began in late 2019 after meeting through mutual friends (the ‘Gwyneth Paltrow circle’, according to E!) and went public at a Golden Globes 2020 after party. He later said, ‘From our very first date, I was able to get to know the real Paris. As people who have seen her documentary and recent advocacy work know, Paris is kind, smart, driven, authentic and an amazing woman.’

Does Carter Reum have other kids?

According to Page Six, Carter has a daughter with former reality star Laura Bellizzi who he had a brief affair with in 2013. Reports suggest that he's not had a relationship with her - apparently only meeting her once in her nine years - but has 'provided for her' financially since she was born.

Otherwise, he now shares his two kids – Phoenix and London – with his wife Paris.
