Pamela Bach— best known for her work on Baywatch and marriage to co-star David Hasselhoff— has died aged 61. Her cause of death is currently under investigation. A statement from David Hasselhoff read, ‘Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.’
Born in Oklahoma, Pamela was a teen model before her motion picture debut in 1983. She was cast by legendary director Francis Ford Coppola when he went to Oklahoma to shoot the hit film, Rumble Fish (1983). In 1985, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting. After a year in L.A. she moved to New York, where she signed with the Ford Petite Modelling Agency.

She worked alongside her then-husband, David, on Baywatch in 1991. She appeared in fourteen episodes of the hit show throughout the 90s. In 1995, she had a recurring role in the TV show Sirens.
Bach met Baywatch star David Hasselhoff on the set of his show, Knight Rider. The pair first met filming the episode ‘Knight Racer’ in 1985. In his 2006 memoir titled Making Waves, he wrote about their first encounter and referenced to the late actress as 'a beautiful blonde with green eyes.' The couple tied the knot in December 1989 and went on to welcome two daughters—Taylor Ann Hasselhoff, born May 5, 1990 and Hayley Hasselhoff, born August 26, 1992.

Hasselhoff filed for divorce in January 2006, and the former couple had a contentious split, with Bach accusing him of domestic abuse, although he denied these claims. After a custody battle over their two children, it was eventually decided that Pamela and David would be granted custody of one daughter each.
Their divorce was finalised later that year, and Pamela told the Associated Press, ‘I’ve always loved him and always will, and have love and compassion for him. It’s a very, very sad day, but a day to move on.’

Last August, Pamela became a grandmother after her daughter, Taylor, welcomed a daughter of her own, London. She shares London with her husband Madison Fiore, who she married in February 2023.
Following Pamela's death, her longtime friend and agent, Sharon Kelly, described her as a 'force of nature' who will be deeply missed. She told People, 'Pamela often talked about how proud she was of her daughters—how much they had blossomed into remarkable women. She loved them more than anything in the world.'
She added, 'She was so excited to be a grandmother. She constantly gushed about London. She loved that little girl so much.'
