She’s doing the PR rounds to support her documentary series, Lindsay, on OWN, the Oprah Winfrey Network, so it makes sense on a PR level that Lindsay would include Oprah in her appearance on the* Late Show With David Letterman*.

During the interview, Lindsay and David called Oprah on the phone, and asked Oprah how she thinks Lindsay is doing on her docu-series.

‘I think she’s doing okay, I think she’s doing really okay,’ Oprah answered, tellingly. ‘We’re really pleased that she’s making some progress.’

One month into the weekly series, Lindsay’s revealed that she’s relapsed in her sobriety by having a glass of wine. During filming, she caused so many problems for the production company – constantly sleeping late into the afternoon and cancelling scheduled shoot days – that Oprah herself flew to New York for a sit-down with Lindsay and her mother, Dina, in which she told her to ‘cut the bullshit’. Lindsay did, kind of, but the series is proving she has quite a way to go on her journey yet.

Check her out on The Late Show:
