Jamie Redknapp has been keen to take newly single Nicole Scherzinger on a date — but the ex-footballer hasn't had much luck
Despite being newly single after breaking up with tennis star Gregor Dimitrov, Nicole proved she's taking her time after she rejected Jamie's offer.
And an insider revealed that Jamie has wanted to date Nicole for a while - but didn't want to try anything when she was still with beau, Gregor.
"Jamie has been very keen on Nicole but would never have tried it on when she was with Grigor", a source told The Sun.
"Since their split, he expressed an interest in dating her but the time isn’t right for Nicole.
"They would make a lovely couple so who knows what will happen in the future."

Jamie's life as a single bachelor comes after his marriage of 19 years ended in 2017.
Jamie's ex wife, Louise Redknapp recently opened up about their relationship post-divorce, saying they’re still “best friends”
“It’s been really tough, but, you know, he’s my best friend. It’s been really tough, but things happen.
“I saw him yesterday and it was all good,” she said.
Louise, who shares sons Beau and Charley with Jamie, said that they still work together in regards to their children.
“We had school meetings and stuff, like you do, so all good,” she told Jamie Theakston and Lucy Horobin.
The former Eternal singer said she’s still close with the Redknapp family, and was supporting her ex-father in law Harry Redknapp during his time in the Jungle on I’m a Celeb, which he went on to win.
