Yesterday, two separate celeb gossip sites (Yahoo Celebrity UK and Sugarscape) tweeted that Niall Horan would be quitting One Direction, sending Directioners into hysterical panic - and hilarious response tweets - but today it's been confirmed that this is, in fact, not entirely true. Or rather, not at all true.
That didn't stop the hashtag #ReasonsNiallLeftOneDirection from trending, with some fairly creative responses for the reasons why he decided to leave:
Amid the furore, the two sites both tweeted the truth - that they'd been hacked and that Niall's future with the band was still safe.
