A new Taylor Swift album usually brings with it plenty of coy confessions. With '1989' on the horizon, Taylor Swift has done a 5,000+ word cover interview with Rolling Stone which is packed with plenty of 'ohh' and 'ahh' revelations. First things first, she answers the question we've been asking since the 'Haylor' break up: how much of her new album is about Harry Styles?
For starters, Taylor - arecently converted feminist - says in the interview that she is over singing mysterious-but-not-so-mysterious one-liners about boys. She reveals: 'You don't want to shade someone you used to date and make it seem like you hate him, when that's not the case. And I knew people would immediately be going in one direction—"

And there it is. The accidental reference to the One Direction singer. Or is it accidental? Because the interview reveals that there are at least FOUR songs on Taylor's album penned about him. 'I Wish You Could' is about an ex living on the same street and 'All You Had To Do Was Stay' is about a boy who wouldn't commit.
The song 'Out of the Woods' tells of a serious snowmobile accident with an ex (cough, Styles) and their trip to the emergency room. She says in the interview: "People think they know the whole narrative of my life. I think maybe that line is there to remind people that there are really big things they don't know about." But the track we are most excited to hear is the one about a boy in a white t shirt. It's called - wait for it - STYLE. Uh-huh.

Taylor does, however, 'throw shade' at another (unnamed) female artist. She reveals: "For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not.She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'" Then last year, the other star crossed a line.
"She did something so horrible, I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies.' And it wasn't even about a guy! It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I'm surprisingly non-confrontational – you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It's awkward, and I don't like it." Who, Taylor, WHO? Could it be Miley Cyrus? Or Katy Perry perhaps? The singer just tweeted this...

The interview also references her many new gal pals, from Lena Dunham to Lorde. And who does she identify most from Lena's TV show, 'Girls'? Shoshanna. She also metaphorically relates to the world's loneliest whale and a New Yorker who walks around with a cat on his head. You'll need to read the full interview for more wonderfully Swiftian moments (she's trying to persuade Selena Gomez to move to New York, she would never take naked pictures (like ever) and her security kind of resembles the CIA). Ah never change, Swifty.
