Just in case you weren’t aware, the newest Hunger Games movie is out next month, and the trailer has just been released.
It’s got the late Philip Seymour Hoffman via voiceover, but the only character that physically appears is Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss, who is returning to a totally obliterated District 12.
Lorde’s song Yellow Flicker Beat is the soundtrack to the trailer, and the lead single from the movie soundtrack which she is curating. It emerged last week that she’s been in touch with Diplo, Simon Le Bon and Charlie XCX to write songs for the soundtrack, which will come out with the movie in late November.
And in more Lorde news, the song South Park created for its parody of the singer recently is now available as a free download. It actually sounds like a real Lorde song, so you should totally download it. She was happy to be parodied on the show, so you don’t have to feel bad about it.
