All good things must come to an end. And it always seemed like the burgeoning relationship between the world’s most famous model and a former member of One Direction was too good to be true. (As Grazia reported last month, we thought they were the most entertaining couple in showbiz.) And, sadly, following four months together, now The Sun have reported that the couple have parted ways - because Naomigot bored ofLiam. (It seems like so long ago that it was reported Liam had told mates they were having ‘mind-blowing’ sex?)
A source told the paper, ’Naomi has taken the decision to let things fizzle out. She’s just not into Liam any more and has cast him aside. Quite simply she got a bit bored. He was always the more keen, slightly needy one and, as far as she was concerned, they were never officially an item anyway. It’s always been very casual.’ Liam will also now not be performing at Naomi’s 49th birthday, as she had originally intended. Sob.
The paper also reports how one of Naomi's pals had originally said the model was embarrassed by their fling, saying, ‘There’s maybe a bit of embarrassment due to the age and Liam being a bit of a step down from some of the megarich men she’s dated.’ (After all, her previous exes include Johnny Depp, Quincy Jones and Eric Clapton.) Which, tbh, makes sense as the pair never posed together for pics during their relationship. Heartbreakingly, Liam is said to be devastated by the split - as it has been said he was "head over heels" for the fashion legend.
