It seems like years ago since Naomi Campbell made us all laugh with her airport cleansing routine. Most of us thought she was being a bit of a diva when she revealed her full flying routine, where she’d anti-bac her seat - and everything around her - on long-haul flights. That was only last year, but now, with the coronavirus outbreak, we can’t help but think she was on to something...
With more and more cases of coronavirus, Naomi has stepped it up a notch, appearing at Los Angeles airport in a full hazmat suit, complete with goggles, pink gloves and a face mask.
‘Safety First NEXT LEVEL,' she captioned the pictures. ‘Full video coming on my YouTube soon…’ We obviously can’t wait to watch the video, and the post has already received more than 250,000 likes. ‘Omg I hope that is not an airplane blanket and it’s your own. Those don’t get washed thoroughly,’ rapper Azealia Banks wrote, while designer Marc Jacobs commented: ‘That’s my sister.’
In last year's video, explaining her flight routine, Naomi said, 'This is what I do on every plane I get on. I do not care what people think of me. It’s my health and it makes me feel better.' She added, 'No matter what plane you take, private or commercial, as the plane descends people start coughing and sneezing. And the coughing and sneezing makes me…I just can’t. As much as I travel, I should get sick so much more with colds and stuff and I’m blessed that I don’t. I really think this helps me — my little routine.'
