Wanna pretend to be Leonardo Dicaprio trying to win an Oscar? Now you can finally realise this lifelong dream of yours with new app MSQRD.
The app is the brainchild of Masquerade Technologies, and was released just before Christmas. It's described as an app to let you 'Record video selfie animations, change the way you look and send it to friends via your favorite messengers and social networks'. However, it's with it's most recent update (1.0.3 in case you're interested and we know you're not) that it's really taken off.
Oh, and Cara Delevingne really, really likes it.
So, how do I get MSQRD?
Head on over to the app store and search MSQRD. Duh. It's not out for Android yet (boo) but if you are sensible enough to have a non-iPhone normal phone, borrow your mate's for a play, it's worth it, promise!
What masks can I get on MSQRD?
Other than Leo, there's also Obama, what looks like Donald Trump, David Bowie as Ziggy Stardust, Conchita Wurst and erm, Shia LeBoeuf wearing that paper bag over his head because: art.
There's also a bunch of animals; a polar bear, a gorilla, moveable bunny ears and a tiger. As well, there's a few fun cartoon masks to play with.
Is there Face Swap?
OF COURSE THERE IS. Which self respecting app comes without face swap these days?
What do I do with the gifs and pictures once they're made?
Erm, share them, obvs. On Insta and Twitter. Go wild.
