Before their love story abruptly ended, Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury were set to be the stars of their own reality TV show. The couple, who have been together for five years after finding each other on Love Island, were due to open up their lives to the cameras for a new series, along with their 23-month-old daughter Bambi. However, plans went off-course when the pair, both 25, broke off their engagement and relationship in August.
Instead, Molly-Mae forged ahead with her own reality series. In Molly-Mae: Behind It All, the mum of one will open up about motherhood and life as an influencer and entrepreneur over the six-part docu-series.
‘I don’t know what the future holds. This is a good opportunity to say how I actually feel,’ she says.
What is the Molly-Mae documentary about?
Molly-Mae will be giving fans ‘an unprecedented access’ into her life in Molly-Mae: Behind It All, lifting the lid on her reality after her split with Tommy. The ‘raw, real’ docu-series will show how she juggles life as a mum to a young child with being the founder of her brand Maebe in the wake of their highly-publicised break-up.
And with the series now released, Molly-Mae certainly isn’t shying away from her real feelings. in one scene, she addresses the end of their relationship, saying, ‘We were utterly obsessed with one another. All I ever wanted was to get married. Suddenly, overnight, every part of my life changed.’ She also admits, ‘The last couple of months has been like the worst couple of months of my life.’
When she tries to throw herself into work and launching her new clothing line, Molly-Mae is seen sobbing. ‘It is not going how I planned.’ She also says, ‘I am angry with him. I am very hurt. Sometimes it just really hits you that I’m in this alone’, while another heartbreaking clip shows Bambi asking for her ‘Dada’ as Molly-Mae's face falls.
Hannah Blyth, Head of TV at Prime Video UK, said, ‘This year has been a transformative one for Molly, and we’re thrilled to offer Prime Video audiences exclusive, intimate access to her daily life and exciting new ventures through this series. Molly is a true powerhouse and her authenticity, resilience, and strength will undoubtedly resonate with viewers as she opens up like never before.’
Executive producer Julian Bird added, ‘Molly-Mae has enjoyed a stratospheric rise and our series uncovers how she juggles being a new mother and successful businesswoman, all while handling the highs and lows of her personal life. This series really is Molly-Mae as you’ve never seen her before, so viewers are in for an enthralling and authentic journey.’
