Every outfit she’s ever worn has been charted, every teeny tiny saaf London squeak to leave her pouty mouth has been analysed, every party documented by the press, but what does the place Kate Moss lives in look like? Luckily, the people over at Vogue managed to get into Kate’s house to talk through the December issue – which is dedicated to Kate – with, um, Kate.
In between all of the photoshoots and fashion chat, which we’re sure you’ll see pinging around the internet from here until eternity (seriously, is anyone more photographed than Kate Moss?) we get a look at her house. And here’s what we’ve learned from it:
Her mugs don’t match. But her cushions do
Oh, and of course, she’s got one of those living rooms that’s so fancy it has two sets of sofas in it. That’s, like, four sofas in one room. That’s eight mates very comfortably loafing in one room. No wonder she hosts so many parties – it looks like the perfect hangover retreat!
George Michael’s album is on her coffee table
Sure, George Michael is a mate of Kate’s, and he once featured her as a sort of angel in a music video of his (remember White Light, the song that captivated just about no-one at the Olympic Closing Ceremony?), but we think it’s a tiny bit odd that Kate has a copy of her pal’s album on her coffee table.
She’s got an original light from Studio 54 in the house
As she says in the magazine – which we’re given snippets of in the video – ‘When we were doing up the house to be our marital home, Darren Gayer, a friend from the Supernova Heights days, gave me this original infinity light from Studio 54. I have no idea how he found it, but it’s perfect.’

Cara’s Rabbit has got her first photoshoot
OK, so it’s not actually in Kate’s house, but as she and Vogue’s rep Kate Phelan look through the December edition, there’s a shoot where lots of models are jumping up and down and having a wild time. Cara Delevingne is there too, but she’s on the floor, lying face-down and clutching her rabbit, Cecil close to her.
She’s got a Wendy house but wants more colour in her garden (!)
It was ‘tucked under the fig tree at the bottom of the garden’ when she and husband Jamie Hince moved in. That said, she does want to make some changes to the garden: ‘I’ve got quite into gardening,’ she says in the magazine, ‘Sam McKnight gave me his gardener’s number – it was all looking a bit too green and needed some extra colour.’
