Rumours that Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus had got married swirled around the internet this week after some photos popped up apparently showing the couple’s secret wedding. But it’s finally been confirmed: Liam and Miley have tied the knot!
The rumours began after Conrad Jack Carr, a friend of the couple, posted a few pics on his Instagram Stories that showed Miley in an off-the-shoulder gown and Liam in a smart tux. One photo showed Cyrus and Hemsworth holding a knife about to carve into a cute two-tier cake.
The 26-year old singer announced yesterday on Instagram that she and the Australian actor had married by posting four gorgeous black and white wedding photos. The first shows the newlyweds having a smooch, captioned “This is probably our one-millionth kiss…” Friends and celebrity well-wishers from actress Hilary Swank to fashion designer Marc Jacobs commented with their congratulations.
The other three photos show Miley and Liam embracing one in front of a beautiful fireplace covered in flowers. Miley confirmed the date of the wedding as the 23rd December and paid tribute to their long relationship with the caption “10 years later”. The couple first announced their engagement in October 2016. There were some whispers last year that they were secretly planning a wedding but a source close to the couple told TMZ that Miley and Liam had no plans to marry. And yet here they are! You got us!
