Miley Cyrus might have momentarily found some comfort in new dog Moonie following the death of her Alaskan Klee Kai (that's a dog, by the way), Floyd. However, she has returned the pup to a friend's mum to look after, she said on Twitter:

When asked by a fan where Moonie would be off to, Miley responded ‘my friend's mom who has a tiny pup 4 him 2 play with Molly... After wht happened Im scared 2 have a tiny dog #moonieandmolly.'

Though Miley does sing 'We like to party/ Dancing with Molly' in her song* We Can't Stop*, we're sure that this Molly she means in this context is an actual dog.

And when another fan asked if Moonie would be happy, hanging out with Molly, Miley responded: '& SAFE! That’s the most important part of loving a puppy. They depend on you.’

Floyd was killed by a coyote while Miley was on tour, and as a way of cheering her up during her grief – which saw her break down on stage in tears while trying to sing songs dedicated to her deceased canine pal – her mum Tish bought her Moonie.

Since announcing Moonie would be going somewhere else, Miley posted photos of her with Mary Jane - that's another one of her dogs, by the way. She tweeted a whole bunch of emoji thumbs up to caption a gossip magazine that has a photo of her crying with Moonie and the headline 'Miley's Tears: Pregnant & Scared'

Well, at least she knows how to have a laugh… Seriously, she tweeted co-stars from her film LOL to tell them she was watching the film as she warmed up to go on stage. Now, that's pretty lol.
