As we know, Miley Cyrus was forced to cancel several dates on her Bangerz tour when she was admitted to hospital in Kansas a few weeks ago. Bed bound, we had to wonder, what does she do all day? After all, there’s only so many illfies one can take. It turns out she did what we all do when confined to our sick beds – watched movies and shopped online.
Speaking to Ryan Seacrest over the phone on his radio show, Miley said she’d been unwittingly poisoning herself for days with the antibiotic Cephalexin, resulting in the hospitalisation:
‘It was so scary … I had basically been poisoning myself with something I didn’t know I was really scary allergic to. I was on this medicine for five days and everything was all good and on the sixth day, I just woke up … it was so scary … I had basically been poisoning myself with something I didn’t know I was really scary allergic to and it was so scary … I couldn't breath and my skin –everything – was going insane.’
Kept in the hospital for over a week, Miley had her sister bring her DVDs to relieve the insane boredom. ‘I was crying because I was so bored,’ she told Seacrest. ‘My sister went and bought me a bunch of DVDs… Clueless and The Shining.’
She also went on something of a shopping spree – but while heavily medicated – saying: ‘I ended up doing way too much online shopping and whatever they had me on to make me not in pain, I made some very questionable choices on what I bought!’
That’s OK, most places do free returns anyway.
