Just like every other human with ears, Michelle Williams (Destiny's Child Michelle Williams, not elfin actress Michelle Williams) has heard Beyoncé's new album, BEYONCÉ. However, it sounds like she's not into all the sexy bits of it… which, um… is quite a lot of the album.

When pressed on her opinion of songs such as Rocket (which opens with 'Let me sit this ass on ya babe'), Blow ('I can't wait 'til I get home so you can tear that cherry out'), Drunk In Love ('We be all night/Last thing I remember is out beautiful bodies grinding up in the club/Drunk in love') and Haunted ('Kiss, bite, fuck me') – we could be here all day, tbh, Michelle was a bit disapproving.

'I was telling someone how I was laughing. I don't know if it's laughter or shyness or embarrassment because the make-up artist and everyone was listening to her say these things, and I'm like, "That's private, girl!" We aren't supposed to know all that,’ she said at the 5th Annual Essence Black Women in Music event.

But, of course, the Christian singer – she forayed into gospel after Destiny's Child sort of, er, disintegrated – thinks maybe it’s OK as Beyonce is singing all this dirty stuff in the context of being married and procreation. 'But she is married and has produced a baby, and we know what you have to do to produce a baby, OK!'

One note though, Michelle. Going by that definition Rihanna would practically have to be Octomom to have produced all those really catchy, sexy songs…
