Michelle Dockery’s Fiance John Dineen Dies in Hospital Aged 34

Michelle Dockery's fiance John Dineen died on Sunday morning. According to reports the 34-year-old died in Cork’s Marymount Hospital after suffering from an illness.

A spokesman for Michelle Dockery said: "The family is very grateful for the support and kindness they have received but would kindly request that they are left to grieve in private.”

According to The Irish Examiner, the funeral is expected to take place on Wednesday 16th December in Cork.

The couple have been together since 2013 and were introduced to each other by her* Dowton Abbey* co-star Allen Leech. Michelle has always kept her relationship private and said in an interview 2014: "I have a wonderful man in my life from Ireland. We were introduced by Allen Leech. That's all you need to know." They are thought to have got engaged early this year.
