Sad times in Hollywood - another hot A-list couple have reportedly broken up. Michael Fassbender and actress Alicia Vikander are rumoured to have split, according to reports.
Us Weekly are claiming that the pair, who met on the set of film The Light Between Oceans, have called it quits after nine months of dating.
Last pictured together in May at the Formula One Grand Priz in Monaco, no reason has been given for the split - not even a 'source' claiming "busy schedules" were to blame, as is usually the case with Hollywood romances.
But Fassbender has previously complained that his commitment to work could often cause problems in relationships.
"I'm kind of selfish with the hours that I put into the work," he told GQ. "I think the longest relationship that I’ve been in was two years... I started doing this when I was 17, so I guess in my dating, adult life, that kind of covers it."
Fassbender has previously dated various co-stars, from X-Men: First Class star Zoe Kravitz, to Shame actress Nicole Beharie.
He is currently working on his role as the late Steve Jobs, while Alicia is appearing alongside Eddie Redmaybe in *The Danish Girl. *
