Melania Trump has praised Chelsea Clinton after the former First Daughter came to the defence of her 11-year-old son, Barron.
The First Son had found himself once again the target of online bullies, who were making fun of his clothes in an article published on Daily Caller called 'It’s High Time Barron Trump Starts Dressing Like He’s In the White House.'

In it, writer Ford Springer criticises the youngster's fashion sense, saying that: 'One thing that isn’t normal though is the way he dresses when he joins his parents for a public appearance...The youngest Trump doesn’t have any responsibilities as the president’s son, but the least he could do is dress the part when he steps out in public.'
Chelsea, who has spoken before about her experiences growing up in the public eye as the daughter of former president Bill Clinton, Tweeted: 'Dear Matty-Barron is A KID. No child should be talked about in the below manner-in real life or online. And for an adult to do so? For shame.'
In response, Melania replied saying: 'Thank you @ChelseaClinton - so important to support all of our children in being themselves!'
Cyber bullying is one of the causes that Melania has chosen to advocate for during her time as First Lady - something that raised more than a few eyebrows considering her husband is the King of the online put-down.
It is not the first time that Chelsea has jumped to Barron's defence. After comedians laid into the 11-year-old for his appearance at his father's inauguration, comparing him to a 'serial killer in the making', she responded by saying that he 'deserves the chance every child does — to be a kid'.
