Have you heard the one about the couple that poops together? No, us neither, until Meghan Trainor decided to casually reveal she’s got adjacent toilets in her bathroom so her and her husband can hang out while emptying their bladder/bowels.
In the second instalment of toilet-based things that shouldn’t happen - remember the 2014 Sochi Olympic loo collective - singer Meghan Trainor of All About That Bass fame and her partner Daryl Sabara poop together.
"We just got a new house, and we did construction,” Meghan told Nicole Byer on her Why Won’t You Date Me? Podcast. “Nobody knows this (Spoiler! We do now! Everyone does!) but in our bathroom there was one toilet, and a lot of time in the middle of the night when we’re with the baby, we’ve got to pee at the same time. So I was like, ‘Can we please have two toilets next to each other?’
“We got two toilets sitting next to each other, and we’ve only pooped together twice. We pee at the same time a lot.”
To recap: We’ve only pooped together twice which is worth noting is two (2) times too much.
Yes, it’s all for the greater good so that they can both multitask and pee as they look after their baby son, but there are other options out there that are less offensive. An ensuite? A toilet under the stairs? Meghan admitted that the builders thought she was joking at first, but soon realised she was not messing around.
Clearly, it’s all about that waste pipe (or two).
