We love Wimbledon. Nothing feels more summery than watching the tennis on centre court, with strawberries and cream. But out favourite thing about the annual championship? The celebrity watching. And no one has brought more star quality than Meghan Markle.
Back in 2019, the Duchess of Sussex appeared at the courts to cheer on her pal Serena Williams, nailing the perfect balance between courtside chic and smart, sharp, classic style in a pinstripe blazer by L'agence - a Californian brand, jeans and a white fedora with Finlay & Co sunglasses. While the outfit was deceptively simple, it worked hard at keeping the ensemble both elegant and off-duty celebrity (if anyone can do it, Meghan can right?).
Our absolute favourite accent of the outfit though, was Meghan's subtle silver 'a' necklace -which we're guessing is a sweet tribute to baby Archie.
Meghan's Wimbledon appearance marks her second ever public appearance since the birth of Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor on the 6th of May 2019. As Wimbledon (and the Invictus games) has traditionally been Meghan's cue to introduce us to the glories of boyfriend-cut shirts, masculine tailoring and jeans-and-heels combos - we were expecting great things from the Duchess of Sussex and true to form, she did not disappoint.
Because Meghan Markle is of course #friendgoals, she watched from the sidelines as Serena Williams played Kaja Juvak at the All England Club. According to Meghan's Mirror (who, as ever, have some seriously excellent Meghan intel she was watching the game with Lyndsay Roth (right) and Genevieve Hillis (left), who she went to Northwestern University with.
Her appearance came just days before baby Archie's christening. Is it just us or are there some serious Rachel Zane vibes going on? We're here for it.
