No, not that one...

Despite telling Entertainment Tonight that he might not be attending the royal wedding, Meghan Markle’s on-screen husband and Suits co-star Patrick J Adams touched down in the UK earlier this week ahead of her 19 May wedding date.

Sharing his arrival on Instagram, he posted a picture of himself and his wife Troian Bellisario at the UK’s oldest pub, The Royal Standard in Buckinghamshire. He wittily captioned the snap ‘I have historically ale’d’. He also stopped for a photo with a fan, who was celebrating her 18th birthday.

This comes after the actor had joked that he was buying Markle a Vitamix as a wedding present, but confessed that he didn’t have her current phone number and wasn’t sure if he would be attending the wedding.

Adams’ fellow Suits co-stars Gabriel Macht and Rick Hoffman, as well as Macht’s wife (and sometime recurring Suits character) Jacinda Barrett are all also in in the UK, with all three of them sharing pictures of themselves being tourists in London. Meanwhile Sarah Rafferty, who plays Markle’s on-screen best friend Donna Paulson, has been showing her two daughters around the capital, as well as Paris over the channel.

Earlier this month, it was reported that the majority of the Suits cast had been invited to the wedding, as well as some of the crew. The show’s wardrobe department has apparently been drafted in to help with the outfits for the day, after the 'morning' dress code was deemed slightly confusing for the Transatlantic guests. They are reportedly helping with the dresses for the ladies, plus hats, as every guest must cover their heads as is traditional for church weddings in the UK.
