It's therefore little surprise that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have decided to take their relationship to the next step: their first public appearance.
Meghan is set to join the Prince later this month at the Invictus Games, the week-long Paralympic-style multi-sport event for war veterans, founded by Harry – held this year in Toronto, the city where actress Meghan films US legal drama, Suits.
Her appearance by the Prince's side is likely to only fuel speculation that an engagement announcement between the two is imminent.

News of the couple's first joint public engagement comes just days following the publication of an article in Vanity Fair where Meghan cryptically said of her Royal relationship: 'I’m sure there will be a time when we have to come forward and present ourselves and have stories to tell, but I hope what people will understand is that this is our time.'
It is thought this was a reference to the formalities the couple would have to observe, if they were to become engaged.
