Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s relationship has stepped up another gear with new reports suggesting the pair visited the Queen last Thursday at Buckingham Palace.
According to a new insider report from The Daily Mail, Harry introduced his girlfriend of one year to his grandmother over tea, cakes and sandwiches in her private sitting room at her London residency.
In order to keep the visit out the public eye and as informal as possible, the couple arrived in a blacked out vehicle before spending around an hour chatting to the Queen. Prince Philip, who has been spending most of his time at their Norfolk home, Sandringham, was not in attendance.

While the couple have been officially dating for over a year now, it was only last month that they were first officially photographed together. The couple were spotted holding hands and laughing as they took in the action court side at the Invictus Games in Toronto, Canada.
Just days later, Meghan spoke candidly about their relationship in an interview with Vanity Fair saying, ‘We're a couple. We're in love.’ An unusually honest move considering Kate Middleton did not speak about her relationship with William for the whole eight years they were dating.
