With the planning for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s 19th May wedding well underway, speculation about their upcoming stag and hen parties is rife.
When it comes to Meghan’s last single ‘do, it seems the soon-to-be-royal will be keeping it classy with a relaxed affair.
According to a report from US Weekly Meghan won't even be calling the event a bachelorette but ‘a celebration of friendship and love’ with both female and male friends invited.
‘Think low-key, think somewhere out of London, good food and drink, a little music. It won’t be wild,’ the source told the magazine.
‘Expect to see the usual faces with [her] best friends Markus Anderson, Lindsay Jill Rothand and Jessica Mulroney taking top seats at the table,’ the royal insider revealed.
Prince Harry will be making a bigger deal of his party and is reportedly planning to celebrate with friends in the Swiss ski resort of Verbier. However, if he’s learned anything from that Las Vegas incident he will be keeping the outrageous antics to a minimum.
The same source also revealed that the couple would not be creating the traditional gift register but instead encouraging wedding guests to donate to a charity of their choice. 'They want to encourage friends, family and well-wishers to donate anonymously to a charity gift fund.'
