Harry and Meghan, Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have appeared at their final official engagement ahead of their step back from senior royalty. They joined the rest of the royal family at Westminster Abbey for an annual Commonwealth Service, with Meghan appearing in a striking green dress and matching hat.
The appearance follows reports that they would not join the Queen in an official procession. They were, however, photographed smiling at church on Sunday, following an invitation from the monarch, suggesting that all is well following months of tumult.
On March 31st, the couple will cease to be senior royals. Earlier this year, they announced that they wished to step back from their roles.
They have enjoyed something of a farewell tour. On Thursday night, the couple were at the Endeavour Fund Awards in London. Earlier that day, Meghan had visited the National Theatre, of which she is a patron, and was seen at The Goring Hotel. On Friday, Harry was on hand to launch The Silverstone Experience in Northamptonshire, with the help of Lewis Hamilton while Meghan was in Dagenham, visiting the Robert Clack School. The resulting images and video went viral after one student couldn't resist but address Meghan's beauty, leading to laughs from everyone - Meghan included.
On Saturday, they were at the Mountbatten Festival of Music, and they have a further commitment tomorrow: the Commonwealth service at Westminster Abbey.
Next, they will return to Canada, where their young son Archie is waiting. Fingers crossed we'll see them again soon, titles or no titles....
