The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been seen together for the first time in what feels like ages, and doesn't it feel good to have them back? Appearing at the Endeavour Fund Awards, the couple looked happy as they fulfilled one of their final appointments ahead of their step back from their lives as senior royals, with Meghan wearing a turquoise dress.
Earlier in the day, Meghan had been seen at London's Goring Hotel, a favourite of The Queen. Archie has remained in Canada, the couple's current base of operations.
The event, held at London's Mansion House, is in line with the fund's work to help ex service personnel who have been wounded, injured or become ill, to reach their goals. Hours before the event, their official Twitter account celebrated Harry and Meghan's incoming arrival:
This will be one of their last appearances as senior royals. On Saturday, they will attend the Mountbatten Festival of Music at Royal Albert Hall, and Meghan will be marking International Women's Day on Sunday, with details to be confirmed. Their final duty will take place on Monday, when they will join the Queen and other members of the family for the Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey.
It has been a long few months for Harry and Meghan. They announced their plans in January, and since then have been hard at work dealing with logistics. Initially, they had hoped for public funds to cover security costs, but this has been vetoed. They had also planned to use the term Sussex Royal in their future endeavours, but reports stated that this has been eliminated as a possibility. In recent weeks, other reports have stated that she has been embarking on meetings with agents, to discuss a potential return to acting.
