We've always been a fan of Megan Barton Hanson. She has made headlines ever since arriving in the villa on Love Island and making an impression with her forthright attitude and her refusal to be shamed for her approach to confidence and sex. Now, she is attracting attention again, this time thanks to a budding relationship with a new man: multi-millionaire Harry Fenner.
Megan, a former glamour model, was snapped kissing Harry in a park in Southend on Friday afternoon. The photographs, published by The Sun, showed the pair sharing an ice cream during a romantic picnic and exchanging another kiss in Harry's Lamborghini sports car.
The images were reminiscent of a classic summer romance, but once they were released it became clear that Harry is still married. Megan has, therefore, ended the relationship.
The Sun cites a source close to Megan as saying that she was unaware of Harry's recent attachment. 'She had no idea he was so newly married', they said. 'She would never go behind another woman’s back, so this will be upsetting for both her and Harry’s wife Charlotte.'
Charlotte has, The Sun also claims, forgiven his indiscretion. 'She doesn't want to throw away their relationship', the source explains. 'But equally he's not very popular in his household right now.'
Harry and Charlotte married last year in a glitzy ceremony, during which Harry described his bride as his 'biggest achievement to date.'
In 2008, he was involved in a crash which killed his then girlfriend Jade McKinnon, who was 17 at the time. He was not jailed.
However the story progresses, let's hope Megan isn't unfairly scrutinised for being 'the other woman' in a complicated situation.
