Love Island star Megan Barton-Hanson and girlfriend Chelcee Grimes have sparked rumours they’ve split for the second time, five months after they confirmed they were back together. Megan first began dating Chelcee when her romance with TOWIE’s Demi Sims fizzled out but the pair called it quits after six weeks due to their hectic schedules before reuniting just a month later.
They’ve been loved-up ever since but with lockdown keeping them apart, the pair’s relationship status has been questioned by fans.
Chelcee is isolating with her family in Liverpool while Megan remains in London and, after they unfollowed each other and deleted all traces of their relationship from Instagram, speculation they’ve called it quits once again is rife.
Neither Megan nor Chelcee has publicly confirmed the rumours but the singer-songwriter, who’s worked with pop legend Kylie Minogue in the past, appeared to hint at the split in a recent social media post.
She wrote, 'Literally so in love atm... with myself! Haven't really ever been able to say that. But this time with myself has made me spend more time with me, myself & I & remember just what I want out of life & what I want IN my life.'
Meanwhile, it was reported last week that Megan’s ex Demi Sims dated Olivia Bentley after the Made in Chelsea star teased she was seeing a female love interest.
Chatting to friends Sophie Hermann and Ollie Locke on the E4 show, Liv said, 'I’ve actually got a date later. It’s actually a her. I was basically out the other night and I met this girl who's gay and sort of got chatting and then I kissed her. It's not like a girl thing, I'm not attracted to – I don't think it's a gender thing but it's a person thing.'
Demi was revealed as the lady in question by a source, who told MailOnline, 'Olivia and Demi hit it off right away – they're both carefree and fun loving, it was obvious from the get-go they'd be good friends. But they quickly established a romantic connection, which came as a surprise to Liv who hasn't dated women before.'
