When it comes to celebrity couples, it doesn’t get much cooler than music producer Mark Ronson and his French actress-model wife, Joséphine de La Baume. But, after more than five and a half years of marriage the pair are parting ways. According to TMZ, Josephine de La Baume filed for divorce from the Grammy-winning producer citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ and listed the couple’s separation date as April 21 of this year.
After two years of dating, the couple wed in September 2011. It was a suitably fashionable and intimate affair, in a Villa in the South of France (with celebrity pals Kate Moss and Lily Allen in attendance).
Josephine previously told the Daily Mail: 'Mark proposed on the beach in La Rochelle - I had no idea whatsoever. He designed the ring - it's a yellow diamond.’
While neither party has yet to comment on the split, Ronson did hint that he was in a "fragile state" on Instagram, after posting a video, writing: ‘You know you're in a fragile state when a smooth jazz version of Chaka Khan's Sweet Thang caresses your soul like an old friend.’
