Look, we've all got our own little rules about what's allowed to go on in our house...especially in the bedroom, right? For Number One diva Mariah Carey, there's a pretty standout one...no playing of any other pop queens. According to TheFIX, the only songs permitted for play within the walls of Casa Carey are...well, Mariah Carey ones. Or jazz, or classical - which leaves boyfriend James Packer a fair bit of wiggle room.
Well, apparently, he broke the cardinal rule by popping on Queen Bey's* Crazy in Love* when the pair were gearing up for date night. Our Mariah apparently got so upset she chucked his laptop clean out of the window, which is fair enough, right?
The source told TheFIX: 'To get her in the mood last month, he turned on 'Crazy in Love', and oh boy, was that a disaster! Mariah threw the computer that was playing it via speakers out the window!'
They added: 'Seriously, just trashed it. She ran out of the room screaming. So the night was obviously finished for James, and they retreated to separate parts of the house. And she had a few glasses of wine to cool down.'
*Yikes. *Some are questioning the validity of these pretty outlandish claims by an anonymous 'source', but this is the same Mariah who cancelled an interview because she's 'not a morning person'.
Tbh, there's a lot we can stand to learn from her about the power of saying no.
