Margot Robbie Kills Us With Her Ivanka Trump Impression

This weekend Saturday Night Live gave us some comedy gold and they really didn't hold back. Guest host Margot Robbie proved she could to comedy as well as the rest of them when she starred in sketches mocking her own reputation as a sex symbol (where she literally turns from a sexy librarian to something from The Witches), as well as our preoccupation with beautiful women who are with unattractive men. But it’s been her impression of Donald Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, that has been the talk of Twitter, and it is scarily good.

We already know that the actress is great with accents (be real, how long was it before you realised she’s Australian?) but she killed us with her parody – seeming somewhere between a Barbie doll and a robot. Warning: Don't watch in a public place or you'll be the weird person laughing into their phone.

Robbie wasn’t the only one to impress on Saturday Night Live; Alec Baldwin took the part of Donald Trump himself, and we basically couldn’t tell him from the man himself (no that’s a lie, even with a wig and a shovel-full of makeup he looked less like an old glove we use to apply fake tan).

However, SNL didn’t relegate its satire to Trump. Kate McKinnon mocked Clinton’s tactics in the presidential debate, specifically her appeal to US workers: ‘Labourers like my own human father, who made, uh, I guess drapes… and he was relatable and I am also relatable!’ she insisted.

With a Harley Quin spin-off film confirmed, we’re happy to report that Margot will be on our screens for a while to come (hopefully with more political satire). And although the Aussie can’t actually vote in the upcoming US presidential election, we have a feeling we know which way she’s leaning.
