Arya Stark might be old enough to [insert spoilery remark about what Arya Stark is old enough to do to horrible blokes she comes across] in Game Of Thrones, but Maisie Williams who plays the swashbuckling child, can’t vote. Yet.

Before May 7th, she’ll turn 18, and so will be able to vote. She’s also appearing on Dazed & Confused’s ‘State Of A Nation’ cover, out now, in a whole load of red-white-and-blue rosettas and a creepily purple suit (isn’t that one of Ukip’s colours?!).

Not only does the ‘anarchist’ – the mag’s words, not ours, but we wonder if she’s taken up the Russell Brand school of ‘nah, cba to vote’ – say who she’ll be voting for in her first election, but she also talks feminism and sexual taboos and then says this: ‘I get a lot of adults who are like, “You don’t know shit,” and it’s like, “You don’t know shit. You have no idea what it’s like to be 17 years old.’

Well, we can *sort of *remember by way of logging onto our old MySpace accounts, but maybe things have changed for 17-year-olds since we were all mates with Tom because he had his mum's old contract phone, and texts cost 12p a pop on our pay-as-you-go Nokia 3220s.
